Author Guidelines

1. Manuscripts must be submitted online through the International Journal of Educational Best Practices (IJEBP) website. Authors need to register before submitting their manuscripts.
2. Manuscripts should be typed in Microsoft Word, using Times New Roman, size 12 font. (See: [Article Template]).
3. The word count should be between 2500 - 7000 words, including appendices.
4. British or American spelling may be used, but it must be consistent throughout the article.
5. The article should include the author’s name, email, and institution.
6. Research-based articles will be prioritized; however, viewpoint/argumentative research articles will also be considered for publication.
7. A research-based article should follow this structure (without section numbers):
• Abstract & Keywords
• Introduction
• Method(s)
• Findings
• Discussion
• Conclusion (and Recommendations)
• The Author
• References & Appendix (optional)
8. The abstract should not exceed 250 words.
9. The introduction should cover four key aspects:
• Background or context
• Literature review
• Research gap and potential contributions
• Research objectives
• These subsections do not require separate titles.
10. Quotations and references should follow APA 7th edition style. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero for managing citations and references. Click the link for more examples of the APA system of referencing.
11. Before submission, authors are required to conduct a plagiarism check using software such as Turnitin. IJEBP will only accept manuscripts with a similarity index of no more than 20%.
